Currently

Hey planner family, I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe, and blessed Christmas yesterday. I had a blast with my kids and we were all able to stay in our pajamas all day, so it was a really fun and relaxing Christmas.

Today I thought it would really be a cool idea to tell you guys at the end of every month what I am currently in to for that month and getting ready for the future month. So with out further ado, here goes!

Reading:

I have not read any books this month, I know... sad. But I will be joining the Paper & Glam Book Club readings for 2016 next month so I am very excited about that! Wish me luck!

Listening:

For the entire month of December I have been listening to every Christmas song made but lately I have been listening to Tevin Cambell's "I'm Ready" CD, channeling my younger, "back in the 90's" self lol.

Watching:

Lately I have been watching more and more reality T.V. I don't know why but it has been really entertaining lately. (Or could it be I have no life lol)

Loving:

Watching my children grow and develop more each day! They are getting so big especially my twins!

Hating:

Not getting any sleep, but that comes with the mommy territory!

Discovering:

That I need to focus on myself more. Since having all my babies I have let myself go and I need to become "me" again.

Wanting:

An iPhone 6s Plus in Rose Gold and iMac!

Needing:

A better nighttime system for my family.

Thinking:

That as much as I don't want to be away from my children, I may need to take a "Mommy Weekend" for myself.

Thanking:

My mom for helping me out since I had the twins.

Enjoying:

Sleep when I do get it!!

Missing:

My best friend Candice. I don't even remember the last time we hung out.

Trying:

To become a better blogger and youtuber.

Anticipating:

Having a better and more financially stable year in 2016!

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this and January LETS GO I'm ready for the challenges ahead! Happy Planning!

Planner Overview: November 2015

Hello Planner Family! I’m back with my first monthly planner overview where I will share how I use my Erin Condren Vertical Life Planner as both my work and personal everyday planner. I will share each week with you and where I purchased they amazing stickers and things that I use everyday to help me plan each day this month. I have been using the use of functional and decorative stickers for a while now and I am loving every moment!

Monthly Spread

Here is my monthly view, I know...sad and I need to find some use for it. Unfortunately this month it was not on my list of priorities. I promise next month will be much better!

End of Halloween Week And Then November Begins!

So Halloween week is one of my favorite weeks! The stickers are from the Etsy Shop called PopFizzPaper. It is Dani's (Shop Owner) October subscription and it was really fun to use in my planner. Week 2: Sick Week...

This week I attempted to do a spread using the colors of the month but my children came down with a cold and then one caught a virus that was going around. So one by one my four kiddos got sick so I did not have the time or the energy to put into my planner. I missed her so that week!

Week 3: Functional is Always Best!

So this week, my children were still sick on and off but I was able to touch my planner but I was only able to take a more functional approach. I was able to use my Erin Condren stickers that came with the planner and some other functional stickers that I already had. I just added a cute Autumn patterned washi for a little fun to the spread.

Coming Soon...

Hello Fellow Planners!!!

Thanks again for visiting my blog, I greatly appreciated everything that you guys do for me! I just wanted to give you guys a small update on the things that I have been planning to post in the upcoming months.

I have finally figured out how I will be using my Horizontal EC Life Planner. I could not figure out what to do with it to save my life. I love using my Vertical EC and I was using it for everything but I have realized that I should just use the vertical planner for my personal and family needs and use the horizontal planner for my social media and work needs. So now that I have figure out what I want to use it for, I am now on the verge of setting up a schedule that will work for me and around my kiddos.

So with that being said I will be posting how I have that set up along with some other ideas that I have in mind. Some of those things are:

1. How I Use My Horizontal EC Planner

2. How I use My Happy Planner

3. Monthly Recap Posts (Showing each layout for the ending Month)

4. Continue Etsy Spotlights

5. Seasonal Hauls/Home Tours since I am a seasonal liver.

6. Life as a Planner Mom, etc...

Other than those ideas that came to me, I am pretty sure there will be more in store as I grow in the blogging community. I am still pretty new to this, so please just bear with me and things will come in to play as they should in the future. Thanks so much for being such great followers of my blog and I will see you soon!

HAPPY PLANNING!!

Summer Fun Decor!

Hello Planner Family! Just wanted to give some summer inspiration for your planner decor today! I recently posted on my instagram, @organizeowl, my summer decor in my Dark Mint Kikki! I call it "Lemon Summer Fun". It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do for the summer in my planner and if you are like me you are very seasonal and like your clothing, household, and even your planner to represent the current season.

Now that summer is here, I wanted something fun and bright and in some of my favorite colors but I just could not think of anything creative to do. I didn't know if I was just going through a what you call "Brain Frat" or just a too busy mom that couldn't think of much else other than her children. (I was about to just add my children to every divider lol) Until one day I saw Maria of the Etsy shop called Twolilbees decor in her current Kikki K set up on her instagram, which you can check out here, her instagram is great! Once I saw, I knew I wanted to do the same or at something similar!

So first thing first, I had to do my research on where all the lovely lemon items came from that she had in her planner or something close to it.

The first items I found were the lemon clips from another great etsy shop called BB Crafty Creations. These clips are so cute, very sturdy, have a great floral pattern on the back (not shown) and they even have glitter on them if you can not notice on the photo. These are not the ones in Marie's photo. Her lemon clip is from an Etsy shop called StickeWicketDesigns, which is also a great shop for clips.

Next to follow along with the theme, I found some things that I already had in my planner collection. A yellow polka dot journaling card from one of my Project Life kits and a happy sun clip from one of my favorite paper clip etsy shops, KawaiiPaperie. I have many clips from this shop. She was the first shop I found almost three years ago when I entered the planner community! Her clips are also very sturdy and strong. My children have even tested them out by trying eat them and they survived lol!!

Another shop with awesome clips is PigtailsandPockets! Now these clips are very different from the other clips that I have mentioned earlier. These clips are also handmade but not made out of card stock, they are actually made of felt. This clip here is their Felt Mason Jar Paperclip! It is very cute and became a great addition to my planner theme.

The second to last item that I received was my sheet of Summer Collection Lemon Stickers from TwoLilBeesCo! This shop is ran by the wonderful Maria who I mentioned earlier in this post where I received my great summer inspiration from!! Her shop is by far one of my favorite Etsy shops and her stickers are amazing. Her shop right now is on a short break to catch up on orders, but once she reopens you guys should really check her shop out!

And for the last and final addition to make my "Lemon Summer Fun" theme to a finish, I recieved my order from ThePrincessPaperie! A lemon dashboard and a yellow glitter ribbon clip to tie everything in and make it complete! This shop is ran by the very nice Kiera and she sells awesome dashboards and very pretty ribbon clips! (She also sell yarn tassels as well.)

So now that I have received everything, it was time to put it all together. Then BAM! I have my Summer Lemon Fun theme in my Kikki K that I am very in love with! (End result below!)

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Please let me know in the comments below and if you have any ideas for future posts you would like me to do, comments those as well!

**THANKS MARIA FOR THE GREAT INSPIRATION! YOU TOTALLY ROCK!**

HAPPY PLANNING!!

Erin Condren Life Planner Release Date!!!!

So as you can tell I am so super duper excited about the new Erin Condren Life Planner Release date, that I had to get on my blog and write about! When I first saw the picture below on her Facebook page and in many of my EC group including the ones that I have created (which will be listed at the end), I just could not contain myself. I started screaming and dancing. My toddlers were looking at me as if I lost my mind lol.

So the first pictures that I saw were the ones on video released on her Instagram and I immediately fell in love with the colors.

Then I saw them all up close and personal!

My favorite is the rainbow striped one and the chevron one in the pinks and orange!
Which is your favorite??

She also announced some new accessories for the planners as well. Which are totally awesome by the way!!

I think I was more excited about the pens being in this new awesome case!!!

New elastic bands are in new beautiful colors.

And the icing on the cake, a new awesome sticker book!

I am really super excited for the release but even more excited for the new accessories that you can get with your new planner!

And lastly, another new thing she is releasing this June is that each planner will include a vellum page in the beginning and maybe at the end of each planner!

And don't forget, not only is she releasing the normal page layout for the life planners but also a horizontal style layout which I think I may try this year!!

If you would like to learn more on the new life planners release and accessories please visit her website with her new look book HERE!

Happy Planning!!!

First Etsy Shop Spotlight!

Libbie and Co.

Happy Hump Day Planner Family! I’m so sorry for the delay in posting, its been really crazy the last few weeks with my new babies and my other two toddler gremlins as I call them lol! Anyways, I am so excited to share with you some amazing planner stickers that I purchased a little while ago. This will be the first installment of my Etsy shop spotlight series that I will be doing on some of my favorite planner sticker shops.

So I would like to put the spotlight on a very cool and awesome Etsy shop called Libby and Co. I have heard many great things about the shop. How price conscious the prices are, how bright and colorful the stickers were, and that you really get your monies worth because they give you so much on each sheet for a very reasonable price. So of course I just had to see for myself and by far they have became one of my favorite Etsy shops!!

Their stickers are very bright, colorful, and are a great size for your planners. They are printed on a semi-glossy paper than is still very easy to write on and use in your planner. Speaking of planners, these stickers are fit for any planner of you preference. If you have an Erin Condren life life planner (such as myself), a Filofax, Plum Planner, Kikki-K, Franklin Covey, or whatever planner you prefer; these stickers will fit and be very  functional for you!

They have a large variety of stickers. I have taken pictures of the ones that I have purchased for you guys to see. (Sorry for the glare in some of the photos, could not find the best place to take the photos with good lighting.)

Task Boxes
Task Dots and Little Televisions
Weight Scales and Colorful Birdies
Weekend Banners and Appointment Boxes
Pay Day flags and Syringes
Push pins and Target Bulls-eyes
Cell Phones (If you can tell, I have already used a green one)

Now that I have have received and seen these beautiful stickers, I had to find the perfect place to store them. It took me a while because I had storage but it I would have to cut the sheets down for to fit in the current storage I am using, which is the Target Dollar Spot accordion file folders. After about an hour or so I remembered I had about five of the Valentine's Day Large felt envelopes that are also from the Target Dollar Spot, and to my expectations it worked perfectly!

So in conclusion, if you could not tell already, I am really in love with these stickers! Even in the midst of writing this post I have made my second order!!! They just compliment my planner very well and they help inspire and motivate me everyday because they're colors are so vibrant and colorful with makes a person like myself very happy! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you have not already checked this shop out, than you need to copy and follow the link below and go see all of the amazing stickers they offer!

Until next time, HAPPY PLANNING!!
